Creative Activist. Musician. Composer. Educator.
Music | Orlando, Florida Area, US
I’m fortunate that my experience is a kaleidoscope of marketing, music, and education. Earning a degree in Advertising and Public Relations prepared me to be an inspired creative, musician and educator. My background included strict deadlines, solving problems, writing creative strategies, negotiating contracts, and assembling teams in the industry of show productions. I had the pleasure of working with extremely talented filmmakers, producers, account executives, copywriters, and designers, where no one ever settled for mediocrity.
In 2007 I elected to go back to my own creative roots and earn a degree in Music and piano performance from Rollins College. Today, as a music educator, I get to teach students how to get gritty and persevere through challenges. I get to teach students how to focus their intentions, value themselves, value their work, and manage their time. As a composer, educator, and creative activist, I get to love for a living...through music.
